On December 7, 1964 Donald Abbott lost his right leg in an industrial accident. After his long recovery finding a job proved fruitless. Many futile months later, he started to drive the people to their various destinations. This soon became the way he began to provide for their five small children. This service eventually led to a taxi business, which today has become Abbott’s Limousine & Livery Service, Inc.

In December of 2001 Don & Jackie transferred ownership of the company to four of their six children. While they remain active, most of their work is done behind the scenes tutoring their children in what has become their life’s work. Don & Jackie have passed on their knowledge and experience along with the principals upon which Abbott’s was founded. Hard work, determination and the customer’s needs are set high above all else.

Over the past forty five years, Abbott’s has grown from that one taxi to an ever expanding fleet of vehicles. Our fleet consist of Cadillac limousines, Lincoln Executive L sedans, Cadillac DTS sedans, 14-passenger vans, 6 passenger minivans, and a 12 passenger Limo Bus. Abbott’s employs over 30 full and part time drivers and office staff, most of whom have been with the company for many years.
