It doesn’t take long for things to get rolling in December as the Town of Stockbridge presents the 22nd Annual Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas December 3rd and 4th. Abbott’s Limousine and Livery service supports the arts and education with thinking outside the box. Abbott’s Limo encourages parents that participate in extra curricular activities with their children to promote free thinking and creativity, this event is a demonstration for kids getting together share their talents and get ideas from one another.

August is a busy month for Berkshire County; stop in to Monument Mountain High school August 12th- 14th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. will be the 38th year for the Berkshire crafts fair.

Anyone under 12 will get in for free, people 12 and over pay $7.00. The fair will be showcasing 89 different artists with 36 of them being new artists. From contemporary and traditional jewelry, to furniture, ceramics, textiles, glassware, and more ranging in prices there will be something for everyone.

August 13th will be demonstration day where visitors can expect to see artisans from California to Florida to Maine at work, where there will be half hour craft demonstrations throughout the day. So come and enjoy the show of all different types of art created by the many hardworking artists, they would love to have you honor their creations, this fair will encourage the

creativity and inspire many young future artists; many minds will be influenced by these experienced artists. Many new artists such as Melanie Anderson who works with wearable Fiber; hand dyed clothing, cotton, wools, and silks or new jewelry makers including Debra Abrams or Micheal Alexander will be glad to show off their latest creations of art. Also, many new artists such as Robbie Heidinger , Nancy Magnusson, and Maya Machin are going to be showing many of their new pottery creations including many different types of hand-molded and wheel-thrown house and garden decorations created from glazed stoneware, clay, red earth-ware, salt-fired ceramics, tiles, and terracotta.

The day will be fun for both artists and visitors, so swing by any day from the 12th to the 14th from 10 in the morning to 5 in the evening.
